Parking
Areas for parking in SMART & GREEN City Slovakia projects are located on the 1st floor of individual residential buildings, but also in parking houses. The parking houses serve largely to meet the static transportation needs of the designed neighbourhood. The proposed parking capacity of more than 500 passenger cars will cover almost half of the parking needs of the residents of the residential buildings, designed at each construction stage. The concentration of residents' parking in parking houses around the perimeter of the residential district is one of the basic principles of mobility solutions in an area. This solution achieves the reduction of car traffic within the area, assuming that the daily needs of the residents within the area, i.e. the basic amenities, kindergarten and school are accessible on foot, by bike or by other non-motorized means of transport. The parking houses also include charging stations for electric cars and electric bikes. In close proximity to the parking houses there are parking areas for solar cars, which serve exclusively for the needs of the residents of SMART & GREEN City Slovakia
